Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 14

It is no secret that I have been on fire lately when predicting the featured sit and starts the past couple weeks. As the season goes along, I tend to get more and more honed in on which players will do well and which players will ultimately fall short. In my many years of fantasy experience, the team that ends the final weeks with the most momentum usually ends up winning it all.

As we enter the final week of the fantasy football regular season, I want you all to take a moment to reflect on how far you have come to get to this point. Hopefully, most of you still reading this list are in playoff contention or have already locked up a first round bye.

But now is not the time to get complacent. As the great Kobe Bryant once said after taking a 2-0 series against the Magic in the 2009 NBA Finals, ‘The job’s not finished’ and you have more work to do in order to go home with the hardware. Do not take your eye off the ball this week. Tunnel vision will be needed if you are going to finish the job. Live in the moment, because you never know when you will be back at the summit of the mountain top.

Cam Newton – Panthers QB

Newton came back down to earth in Week 12, meeting his Kryptonite in the form of the Dolphins D which forced him to throw 2 picks and was ultimately benched in favor of PJ Walker. With some time to lick his wounds, Newton is coming off a much-needed bye week where he gets a juicy matchup with a porous Falcons D that has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks per game. I predict Superman will be back in the red zone in Week 14 now that Cmac is out for the rest of the season.

Sit Tom Brady Week 14

Week 14 Sit ’em

Tom Brady – Bucs QB

Timeless Tom is coming off a Week 13 destruction of the aforementioned Falcons D, where he lit them up for 4 TD’s through the air in another vintage Brady performance. In Week 14 the sledding gets a little tougher against a Buffalo D that has allowed just 8 passing TD’s to opposing quarterbacks on the season. This could end up being Tom’s toughest matchup of the regular season so temper expectations in Tompa Bay.

Tom Brady Week 14 Projections: 237 passing yards, 2 passing TD’s 1 INT, 1 Fumble, 1 rushing attempt, 2 rushing yards
