Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 15 (Playoffs Round 2)

So you are one game away from the Fantasy Championship game, eh? If you are reading this then I am going to assume that you are still playing for something meaningful and you have a realistic chance at going the distance in your league.

If that is true, then Kudos to you for a successful fantasy season. No matter what happens this week, you should be proud of what you have accomplished because most people don’t get this far and you made a lot of smart moves despite many tough obstacles in your way.

My one piece of advice for you is to start the players who got you here. Don’t try and do something you wouldn’t normally do and start someone who is the flavor of the week. You must live and die by sticking to your guns. If all else fails, listen to your gut. It’s what got you here, one win away from glory…

Jonathan Taylor – Colts RB

The disappointing rookie RB is coming off back to back strong performances, including a breakout 150 yard and 2 TD game against the Raiders in Week 14. In that game he saw 20 touches which is a sign that the Colts are trusting him not to fumble the ball, a problem that has plagued Taylor since his college days at Wisconsin.

In Week 15 he gets a juicy matchup against a Texans defense that is allowing the second-most rushing per game and should provide Taylor with lots of opportunities to break off big, open-field runs and get into the end zone.

Jonathan Taylor Week 15 Projections: 23 rushing attempts, 133 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD, 3 receptions, 55 receiving yards

Week 15 Sit ’em

Leonard Fournette – Bucs RB

With the recent news that starting RB Ronald Jones II has been put on the covid-reserve list, it would be logical to presume that Leonard Fournette would immediately get the lion’s share of touches as the workhorse in the Bucs offense. Well not so fast kids, because Fournette was a healthy scratch in Week 14 against the Vikings.

The team instead elected to give the extra touches to veteran RB LeSean McCoy and rookie RB Ke’Shawn Vaugn instead of Fournette. This is not a good sign for Fournette owners looking to start him this week as a volatile RB2 or FLEX option. Skip the uncertainty and look elsewhere for RB production if you want to get to the championship game.

Leonard Fournette Week 15 Projections: 5 rushing attempts targets, 18 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 9 receiving yards, 0 TD’s
