- Cross off every name that is drafted
- When you draft a player, write his name, position and bye week on the right side of the page
Basic Strategy
Using only overall rankings on draft day has many flaws. For instance, if you drafted an elite quarterback and tight end, you don’t want to waste your time looking at tons of QBs and TEs in the overall rankings. This go-to list is separated by position and tier for a reason. Overall rankings are useful, but only in the first round. After that, this Top 300 Cheat Sheet is what you want to use.
When drafting, you actually want to draft the most valuable and most scarce player at that position, not necessarily the player who will give you the most fantasy points. This is why valuable players like Saquon Barkley (a scarce workhorse RB) and DeAndre Hopkins (the most elite WR) are drafted ahead of players like Aaron Rodgers, who will get far more fantasy points then the stud RB and WR, but there are a lot of great QBs to draft from this year. This season has the deepest quarterback and wide receiver pool we have ever seen. This is also why tiers are important. If a player is the last available player at his position’s tier, he becomes far more valuable, and this makes him a much better candidate to draft. If you notice, Antonio Brown is already the last player in his respective tier before the draft even begins.
Do you have a top 300 sheet for a standard scoring league
other than bumping down a couple players like James White and Tarik Cohen, it’s pretty much the same. And QB, TE, D, K are 100% identical. You’ll be ok my friend. People use it for non-ppr all the time
does the player rankings differ from standard and ppr? i am playing in two different leagues one is ppr and the other is standard

Would this list be alright for standard leagues?
yes
Hello Huseyin, any chance there is a top 300 list for Standard leagues?
thank you!
just use this. you’ll be fine. QB, D, K, TE are all 100% identical… and there isn’t much difference for RB & WR… only difference is, bump down players like James White and Cohen in non-ppr
