Rookie Rankings for Keeper & Dynasty Leagues

Ezekiel Elliott is the No. 1 overall choice when it comes to keeper and dynasty rookie rankings. Elliot landed in a perfect scenario for him, running behind that dominant Cowboys offensive line. Although he is not as popular as Elliot, wide receiver Tyler Boyd has found himself in a perfect situation in Cincinnati where the Bengals will look to use his vast skill set and hands of glue to their advantage. While A.J. Green and Tyler Eifert draw the majority of the coverage, Boyd will be left to torch linebackers and third-string corners with the same legs that saw him average 13 yards a catch at Pittsburgh. The 8.3 yards per carry average on 64 rushes shows this sticky-handed wideout has versatility written all over him. While he doesn’t have the speed to separate from elite corners, he shouldn’t be facing too many as long as A.J. Green is also on the field. A talented possession WR and major PPR sleeper, Boyd is exactly what the Bengals needed to fill the holes from free agency.

Tyler Ervin out of San Jose State is definitely a name to watch. with Lamar Miller delicately placed atop the depth chart, should there be any shaking look for the change-of-pace back to take his opportunity and become the NFL’s next breakout satellite back. He could be the Texans version of Dexter McCluster or maybe even Dion Lewis. Ervin lined up at tailback, slot receiver, cornerback, return specialist and gunner. He has excellent vision and is fluid when running through the tackles.

Despite being one of the highest rated rookies, Derrick Henry wasn’t selected until the second round because of his bruiser mentality, which can prove to have a short lifespan in the NFL. At 6’3″ he is as tall as any running back you’ll see, but he has the strength and speed to put fear in defending corners and smaller linebackers. With DeMarco Murray being one year removed from being a big ol’ bust, the odds of Murray losing the starting role to this talented rookie are not low.
