It’s Week 2 of fantasy football and you’re probably staring at your lineup at the office, asking yourself who do I start in fantasy this week? Well, you’re in luck because the boldest start ’em sit ’em list is back. Warning: use this start ’em sit ’em list as a guide to help you setting your lineups and not as a must-start/must-sit for every type of league. We are not responsible for broken remotes, TVs, phones and computer monitors. With that being said, pay attention and #InTheCouchWeTrust.

Week 2 Start ’em

Allen Hurns, Jac WR

No rookie in the history of the NFL has had an opening week like Hurns, his first two career receptions went for touchdowns. He had a very good preseason (14 receptions for 232 yards and a touchdown) and continued that success in Week 1, finishing with 4 receptions for 110 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets.

I like his matchup this week against the Washington Redskins who had a suspect pass defense last year and showed last week that they still have not addressed their secondary problems; they allowed DeAndre Hopkins to beat them for a 76-yard touchdown and that trend will continue this week with Hurns. Even if Cecil Shorts (questionable) plays this week, I still think Hurns will put up WR2/flex numbers and is worth starting. He should finish Sunday’s game with six receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Week 2 Sit ’em

Zac Stacy, StL RB

It says something when your backup, plays more snaps and out produces you. Going into this season there was a lot of grumblings about Zac Stacy and the type of workload he would receive, that it might be a RBBC (running back by committee); Week 1 proved us right.

This week he is going up against a formidable run defense in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last year the Bucs allowed 13.5 pts/game to running backs and last week they allowed the Carolina backfield a grand total of 11 points. I don’t have confidence that Coach Fisher will break away from the RBBC anytime soon and with how tough the opponent is this week, Stacy owners should be looking for a replacement. Expect a dismissible performance to the tune of 11 carries for 52 yards and no touchdowns.
