Start

Matt Hasselbeck
He has more passing yards than Aaron Rodgers, more passing touchdowns than Ben Roethlisberger and has thrown fewer interceptions than Philip Rivers yet he still goes unnoticed in the fantasy world. Matt is developing good chemistry with his receivers and looks ready to have one of the most productive seasons in his career. This week he faces a Denver Broncos team that allowed rookie quarterback Andy Dalton to throw for 332 yards and two touchdowns last week. Hasselbeck had a good performance last week throwing for 358 yards and a touchdown against a more formidable opponent in the Baltimore Ravens. I got a feeling that the veteran quarterback will torch this Denver defense that has some injuries to deal with; he should put up 323 yards and two touchdowns.

Other players you should start this week: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ben Roethlisberger, Beanie Wells, Daniel Thomas, Chris Johnson, Shonn Greene, Mike Wallace, AJ Green, Dustin Keller, Fred Davis

Sit

Cedric Benson
He sure didn’t look good last week and this week he is facing the number one run defense in the league in the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners have looked awfully good on defense allowing Marshawn Lynch and Felix Jones to gain 33 and 25 rushing yards respectively the past two weeks and have only allowed a total of 109 rushing yards in those games. Last week Benson rushed for only 59 yards on 16 carriers with his longest run being 14 yards and that was against the worst run defense in the league. The 49ers will make sure that Benson doesn’t beat them and bring 8-man fronts to contain him; he will end the game with 44 yards and no touchdowns.

Other players who should sit this week: Matt Schaub, Eli Manning, Joseph Addai, Felix Jones, Cadillac Williams, DeAngelo Williams, Jahvid Best, Reggie Wayne, Hakeem Nicks, Tony Gonzalez

Pickups: Eric Decker, Dexter McCluster, Fred Davis
