Basic Strategy

Using only overall rankings on draft day has many flaws. For instance, if you drafted an elite quarterback and tight end, you don’t want to waste your time looking at tons of QBs and TEs in the overall rankings. This go-to list is separated by position and tier for a reason. Overall rankings are useful, but only in the first round. After that, this Top 300 Cheat Sheet is what you want to use.

When drafting make sure you are drafting for value and for positional scarcity. Make sure you know your league’s roster and scoring settings. Wide receivers have very little value in leagues where you only have to start 2 WRs. In SuperFlex leagues, quarterbacks are much more scarce.
