Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 11

We are now in the 4th Quarter of the fantasy football season so every week counts! In most leagues the trade deadline is fast approaching, so the time is now for you to assess your options and make a move. Unless your team is already deep and balanced, you likely would benefit from making a trade that could increase your odds to win it all. Don’t be afraid to take risks if it will improve your roster!

Be aggressive this week and try to make a trade that will put you in position to win in the long run. If you need to call the other owner on the phone to close the deal then so be it. This is not the time to be reactive. Proactive fantasy owners are the ones who usually finesse their way to a championship at the end of the season.

Week 11 Start ’em

Cordarrelle Patterson – Falcons RB

CPatt is coming off a dud of a performance in what should have been a blow up spot against the Panthers in Week 10. For some inexplicable reason Arthur Smith decided not to run the ball with Patterson despite the Panthers D giving up 5 TD’s to Joe Mixon in Week 9.

I expect him to come to his senses and give Patterson the lion’s share of touches against a Bears D who is allowing the 4th most fantasy points to the running back position this season. The dynamic CPatt will be used on the ground and do damage through the air as the swiss army knife of the Falcons offense.

Cordarrelle Patterson Week 11 Projections: 15 rushing attempts, 153 yards rushing, 1 rushing TD, 5 targets, 4 receptions, 23 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD

Week 11 Sit ’em

DJ Moore – Panthers WR

All the value and success that Moore may have gained with PJ Walker at QB is now thrown out the window. Enter Baker Mayfield’s noodle arm who will surely put a damper on Moore’s weekly prospects moving forward.

In Week 11 they must face a Baltimore defense that is stifling against the pass and is more likely to be exploited by D’Onta Foreman and the Panthers running game. Moore has been held below 30 receiving yards in 3 of his last 5 games, with this matchup tilting towards another underwhelming performance for the Panther prodigy.

DJ Moore Week 11 Projections:7 targets, 3 receptions, 23 receiving yards, 1 rushing attempt, 3 rushing yards, 0 TD’s
