Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 10
Wow, where did the time go? Somehow we went from drafting with our buddies to Week 10 in the blink of an eye. I guess that’s what happens when you are having fun playing fantasy football! All kidding aside, we have now reached a point in the season where it’s time to get serious. You can’t afford to lose any more games if you want to secure a coveted playoff spot in your league.
Now is the time to look ahead in the schedule so you are prepared for upcoming matchups for your key players as well as against teams in your league. If you know you are about to play a team with a weak QB or TE, block them from picking up a difference maker this week on waivers. In this game every move matters, so make them count!
Week 10 Start ’em
Jeff Wilson – Dolphins RB
With CMac coming into town and taking his spot in the Bay, Wilson asked to be traded to a team where he could be a starter again. He got his wish in Week 9 when the 49ers front office traded him to a friend of the program, former Coach Mike McDaniel and the explosive Miami Dolphins offense.
Wilson was able to pick up the playbook quickly and immediately took control of the starting job from Raheem Mostert, himself a former 49er back, handling 9 carries for 51 yards and adding a receiving TD on the day. In Week 10, Wilson gets a plus matchup against a Browns D that has given up 105.1 rushing yards per game to running backs this season. Start him with confidence and watch the big dog eat!

Week 10 Sit ’em
Justin Herbert – Chargers QB
After starting the season strong, Herbert has been somewhat of a disappointment after Week 4. Losing his top 2 WRs Keenan Allen and Mike Williams to injury hasn’t helped much while he has been dealing with a rib injury since a Week 2 loss to conference rival Kansas City. In a plus matchup in Week 9 against the Falcons, Herbert struggled to get the ball into the end zone, relying heavily on Ekeler and the ground game.
This week he faces a stout 49ers defense that will look to take away Josh Palmer and Gerald Everett in the passing game while keeping Ekeler and Herbert contained in the run game. Fade Herbert until his receiving core can get back close to full strength.
Justin Herbert Week 10 Projections: 225 passing yards, 2 INT’s, 4 rushing attempts, 5 rushing yards, 0 TD’s
