Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 6

The bye weeks are finally upon us! Those who are prepared by looking ahead will increase their probability of winning compared to their opponents who are sitting idly by. If you know your starting QB will have a bye week coming up, now is the time to grab a decent backup like Geno Smith or Kenny Pickett who can be a capable fill-in option.

Tight ends who are not atrocious are extremely hard to come by, so if you are a Darren Waller owner consider picking up someone like Hayden Hurst or Taysom Hill this week. If you can figure out how to navigate your bye weeks you will have an upper hand on the rest of your league mates and increase your chances at a playoff bid as the weeks unfold.

Rhamondre Stevenson – Patriots RB

With backfield running mate Damien Harris nursing a hamstring injury suffered in Week 5, Stevenson finally seized the starring RB1 role and ran with it to the tune of 161 rushing yards. The only thing missing was a TD, which will surely come in Week 6 on the road against the Browns. As long as Harris is sidelined, I expect Stevenson to be a bell cow back for Bill Belichick’s run-heavy offense as long as rookie QB Bailey Zappe is under center.

Rhamondre Stevenson Week 6 Projections: 27 rushing attempts, 152 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, 4 receptions, 28 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD

Miles Sanders - Sit em Week 6 (2022)

Week 6 Sit ’em

Miles Sanders – Eagles RB

After telling fantasy owners not to draft him this season, Sanders has been a revelation for an Eagles team that is currently ranked 4th in rushing yards averaging 160 per game. Sanders is currently the RB12 on the season thanks to a huge Week 4 where he rushed for 134 yards and 2 TD’s against the Jaguars.

This week he faces the top defense in the league in the Cowboys who are dominating thanks to a DPOY candidate Micah Parsons leading the way. In a game which should be a shootout, I expect another underwhelming performance from Sanders in a tough divisional matchup.

Miles Sanders Week 6 Projections: 14 rushing attempts, 63 rushing yards, 1 reception, 8 receiving yards, 0 TD’s
