Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 2

After playing this game for over 10+ years I have seen it all when it comes to fantasy football. From all that collective experience, the one piece of advice I have for you is this…Don’t overreact to Week 1! It is too early to make any rash decisions like dropping bench players who you drafted if they don’t perform. One game is an extremely small sample size. Remember, this game is a marathon not a sprint.

On the other hand, it isn’t too early to scan the league looking for opportunities to improve your team through trades. The name of the game is buy low sell high. If you see someone in your league whose team is in obvious need of a player that you may have on your roster, engage in some trade talks and see what happens. You never know what can happen unless you try!

Joshua Palmer – Chargers WR

With Keenan Allen officially listed as out for TNF, Palmer looks to be a big beneficiary in a matchup against a high-octane Chiefs offense. Palmer will move up to second in the pecking order opposite Mike Williams on the outside, with DeAndre Carter moving to the slot.
The second year wideout looks to be a prime breakout candidate and should become a down the field favorite of Justin Herbert in Week 2 in what should be one of the highest-scoring games of the year.

Joshua Palmer Week 2 Projections: 8 targets, 6 receptions, 89 receiving yards, 2 TD’s

Ezekiel Elliott - Sit em Week 2

Week 2 Sit ’em

Ezekiel Elliott – Cowboys RB

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Fantasy owners who burned a third round pick on Zeke hoping that he would eat like he did in his prime seasons were left with a disappointing performance in Week 1. Adding insult to injury is the news that Dak Prescott could be out for a few weeks and the Cowboys were the only NFL team who didn’t score a TD, and you have the recipe for disaster in Dallas. In Week 2 they face a stout Bengals defense that allowed only 75 rushing yards against the Steelers. Fade Zeke and let someone else eat in your lineup.

Ezekiel Elliott Week 2 Projections: 8 rushing attempts, 49 rushing yards, 1 reception, 1 Fumble, 0 TD’s
