Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 12

There are 4 games left in the fantasy regular season! I repeat…there are 4 games left! From my experience the team who is the hottest at the end of the regular season going into the playoffs typically wins it all.

If you started hot and are now on a downward spiral with a three-game losing streak, it is time to re-evaluate what you are doing and make some adjustments. The magic fairy dust has worn off and you will have to dig deep in order to pull yourself out of this hole.

On the other hand, if you started slow but have now ripped off 5 straight wins, you are most likely a team of destiny who is peaking at the perfect time. In order to keep your trajectory going in the right direction, you must look ahead and make savvy moves that will give you an advantage over your opponent. Picking the right defenses and kickers each week can be the difference between winning and losing. Don’t overlook the details!

Elijah Moore – Jets WR

In Week 11, the training wheels came off for good and Moore was ready for takeoff, turning a team-high 11 targets from Joe Flacco into 8 receptions and 141 yards and a TD. Moore showed flashes of what made him a first-team All-American at Ole Miss, taking a long pass from Flacco to the house against a stout Miami Dolphins defense.

Rookie QB Zach Wilson will be back under center in Week 12, but I don’t think this will affect Moore in a negative way. I think that the rookie gunslinger will look to his fellow rookie wideout early and often with running back Michael Carter out 2-3 weeks with an injury. Against a soft Houston defense in Week 12, Moore should erupt for another explosive outing as Wilson’s number one option downfield.

Elijah Moore Week 12 Projections: 12 targets, 9 receptions, 123 receiving yards, 2 receiving TD’s

Sit em Week 12 - Kadarius Toney

Week 12 Sit ’em

Kadarius Toney – Giants WR

In Week 11 against Tom Brady and the Bucs, Toney emerged as a high-volume target for struggling QB Danny Jones, who is probably playing his last season for the G-Men. Toney received a team-high 12 targets, but was only able to muster a measly 40 yards on 7 receptions.

With Sterling Shepard potentially returning to the lineup this week, Toney could be relegated back to a supporting role against a Philly Eagles defense that has allowed the 2nd fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Fade Toney as a Rondale Moore clone who suffers from abysmal QB play from a washed Danny Dimes.

Kadarius Toney Week 12 Projections: 9 targets, 5 receptions, 31 receiving yards, 0 TD’s
