Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 10
At this point in the fantasy season there is enough data and a big enough sample size to get a good feel for what kind of team you have. Unless you decide to make a blockbuster trade, your main nucleus is going to remain the same for the rest of the season heading into the playoffs.
If you decide to keep your roster intact and now shake things up, then the next thing you need to do is look ahead and see which matchups you can take advantage of. If you know you have a QB that has a Week 13 BYE, now is the time to look for a backup with a favorable matchup that week.
The same goes for team defenses and kickers, always look ahead and see which players you may be able to pick up with matchups against bad teams like the Jets, Lions, Dolphins and Falcons. At this stage in the season, every point counts so don’t leave anything on the bench!
James Conner – Cardinals RB
With starter Chase Edmonds going down with an ankle in the first quarter against the 49ers, Conner ran with his opportunity to the tune of 173 yards and 3 TD’s in Week 9. Conner gashed the defense at will and was largely unstoppable with his ability to break tackles and get into the end zone.
With Edmonds likely to miss multiple weeks, Conner will be primed for another huge day with the amount of volume he will be getting at home against a middling Panthers defense. Conner should also see increased work in the passing game and could return to form as the RB1 he used once was for the Steelers.

Week 10 Sit ’em
Damien Harris – Patriots RB
Harris is coming off a 5-game streak in which he has had at least 1 TD, but suffered a head injury in Week 9 against the aforementioned Panthers. Harris led the Patriots’ backfield with 15 carries, but was out rushed by Rhamondre Stevenson while ceding additional touches to Brandon Bolden.
In Week 10, the Pats must face a stout Browns defense that allowed just 16 points to a high-powered Bengals offense a week ago and currently ranks 5th in DVOA. I predict the impressive scoring streak will end for Harris as he shakes off the cobwebs, opening up more opportunities for his backfield counterparts.
