Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 16 (Championship Game)
It has been a long and crazy season, but we are finally at the end of the road. It seems like yesterday that we all had doubts that there would even be a season, let alone get to this point where we will have a new fantasy champion crowned in leagues across the world. I wish I could say that I nailed every featured start and sit this season, but that is simply not the case and there is always room for improvement.
My own journey with fantasy has been full of ups and downs and this season is no difference. Since I started playing this game 10 years ago, I have had the fortunate opportunity to win a total of 8 fantasy league championships in my career. Out of the 6 leagues I take part of each year, I was able to make it to 2 championship games which will be on the line this week.
Like you, I am also unsure which players to start with the trophies and glory at stake but I can only listen to my gut and go with what got me here…my instinct. I encourage you all to do the same. Good luck and hopefully we will see each other on the other side, as champions once again!
Antonio Brown – Bucs WR
AB has been underwhelming so far during his first season on the Bucs, but it appears things are starting to turn around for the misunderstood wideout. In Week 15 against the Falcons, AB broke out with 5 catches on 7 targets for 93 yards and a game-winning 46-yard TD.
The big play was his first TD of the season and I predict it is a sign of things to come in Week 16 as the Bucs face a soft Lions secondary that has allowed the second-most yards per pass attempt (8.1) and the 4th most passing TD’s (20) in the league.
Antonio Brown Week 16 Projections: 10 targets, 9 receptions, 103 receiving yards, 2 TD’s

D’Andre Swift – Lions RB
Swift is coming off a 2 TD performance in Week 15 where he received the lion’s share of touches (pun intended) against the Titans. Although he was able to find the end-zone, his total yards were lacking and he also lost a fumble on the goaline early in the game.
QB Matthew Stafford is dealing with a rib injury that could keep him out of the game which would severely limit the potential of Detroit’s offense against a Bucs defense that is allowing the seventh fewest fantasy points to running backs.
The Lion’s have nothing to play for and it could make sense for them to shut down Stafford instead of putting him at risk. If he is not under center, I expect the Bucs to key in on the Lions backfield which will severely limit Swift’s upside in this pivotal Week 16 matchup.
D’Andre Swift Week 16 Projections: 13 rushing attempts targets, 45 rushing yards, 3 receptions, 12 receiving yards, 1 Fumble, 0 TD’s
