Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 15 (Playoffs 2019)

If you are still reading this then it’s not too late and you are in the fantasy playoffs with a chance to win a league championship. The cumulative effect of your smart decisions has put you in the enviable position of being the last team standing. Having won multiple league championships in my career (6 and counting…) I strongly urge you to stay focused on the task at hand, but also don’t forget to smell the roses.

Only a small percentage of people in the world who play fantasy football make it this far, and it is an amazing accomplishment that shouldn’t be taken lightly. You spent hours every week preparing for your matchup watching highlights, YouTube videos and listening to podcasts like ours, just so you could make it to this point. Trust your gut and don’t overthink your options. No matter what happens this week, your season was a success and you have nothing to be ashamed of. Good luck Couch Fam and see you in the next round!

Week 15 Start ’em

Raheem Mostert – 49ers RB

All jokes aside, Mostert is a Must Start in this Charmin soft matchup against the Falcons D, and a potential league-winner if you managed to hold on to him despite the return of Matt Breida. After his amazing performance against the Saints, it is clear that Mostert is the guy moving forward as he changes the game with his blazing speed and playmaking ability in the 49ers backfield. Fire him up as a sure-fire FLEX play that you can count on in the first round of the fantasy playoffs!

Raheem Mostert Week 15 Projections: 20 rushing attempts, 153 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD’s, 4 receptions, 37 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD

Week 15 Sit ’em

Devonta Freeman – Falcons RB

Freeman figures to get plenty of volume with Calvin Ridley now on IR, but he is about to run into the buzzsaw which is the Niners defense which is playing at an elite level. With a front seven that features 6 first round picks, including likely Defensive ROY Nick Bosa, Freeman will have a tough path to big chunks of yards and touchdowns. Like Aaron Jones in Week 12, I predict Robert Saleh will gameplan to stop Freeman and bottle him up in the backfield as much as possible. Bench Freeman and avoid a potential first round flameout.

Devonta Freeman Week 15 Projections: 15 rushing attempts, 43 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 6 receiving yards, 0 TD’s
