Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 14 (2019)
Playoff SZN is finally here and I will be your guide as you emerge victorious as the league champ! Whether that happens or not, my message to you this week is simple. Do not wait until next week. Play this week as if its your last game of the season and leave everything on the fantasy field.
By that I mean don’t hold your waiver priority so that you can have a higher one next week. Your objective is to win now at all costs and do not look past your opponent this week. Study their team and look for potential weaknesses that you can exploit. Don’t give your opponent a read on what your starting lineup will be by benching your players until the last possible second.
A wise man once said, football is a game of inches! Every blade of grass! Well this applies to fantasy football as well if not more so. Get any advantage that you can over your opponent, because the player who makes the least mistakes will be the last one standing.
Week 14 Start ’em
Miles Sanders – Eagles RB
With veteran running back Jordan Howard nursing a shoulder injury since Week 11, Miles Sanders has been on a tear the last two weeks scoring his first TD against Miami since Week 8 and showing why he was considered the heir apparent to Saquon Barkley at Penn State before getting drafted by the Eagles in the second round.
Sanders is a shifty back who excels in catching passes out of the backfield, and that is exactly what he is going to do against a Giants defense who has been anemic all season against running backs. I predict this will be a breakout game for Sanders who is one of the most electric young backs in the game today.
Miles Sanders Week 14 Projections: 20 rushing attempts, 101 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, 7 receptions, 33 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD

Week 14 Sit ’em
Allen Robinson – Bears WR
Robinson has been hot as of late, leading the team in targets the last two weeks and scoring 2 TD’s. His volume has been exceptional with Trubisky playing better than he has all season. That being said, this is the fantasy playoffs and I just wouldn’t be able to trust a player who has Mitch Trubisky throwing to him against a Cowboys secondary that has been solid against wideouts, giving up the 7th fewest fantasy points to the position on the year.
If he is your only option then by all means start Robinson this week, but if you are in a must win situation with other options on your bench, I suggest you look elsewhere than A-Rob in Week 14 with your season on the line.
Allen Robinson II Week 14 Projections: 9 targets, 5 receptions, 57 receiving yards, 0 TD’s
