Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 12 (2019)
This is the last week where teams have a Bye, and for a lot of you who are making a last ditch effort to make playoffs, arguably the most important week of the season. If you are one of those teams, I strongly urge you to pay very close attention to what the other team’s are doing and put yourself in the best position to win now, because tomorrow is not promised!
Week 12 Start ’em
Baker Mayfield – Browns QB
Baker and the Browns have been through one of the most roller coaster seasons in recent memory, starting the year as the much-hyped favorites to take a major leap as one of America’s favorite teams, to hitting an opposing team’s quarterback in the head with a helmet on TNF.
The recent turmoil aside, Mayfield has been playing well as of late, posting his best statistical game of the season in Week 11 with 2 passing TD’s and 1 rushing TD against a tough Steelers defense. This week he gets the lowly Dolphins at home who just gave up 37 points to Josh Allen and the Bills. If you are a Dak owner like myself, consider playing Baker in this plus matchup instead of risking a down game against the Patriot’s D.
And on top of all that, Browns TE David Njoku is off of IR and has a realistic shot at playing this week. Njoku tweeted this recently:

Week 12 Sit ’em
Michael Gallup – Cowboys WR
Gallup has been on fire in his last two games, overshadowing his much more heralded teammate Amari Cooper against the Lions in Week 11. He was Dak’s favorite target, racking up an impressive 148 yards through the air with a TD on 9 receptions, while being targeted a team-high 13 times.
This week he gets his toughest matchup of the year against Stephen Gillmore and the Pats D which will be looking to stop Gallup and Cooper in their tracks. Dak likes to spread the ball around, and it is likely he will be going back to Cooper often in this highly anticipated matchup.
