Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 6 (2019)
If you were one of the unfortunate teams who had to play against last week’s featured start DeShaun Watson in Week 5, you are likely dealing with how you are going to rebound after a tough loss. I’ll be completely transparent with you guys. I lost in all 4 of my fantasy leagues last week and I too am licking my wounds as I try to claw my way out of the hole I dug myself.
If you are one of the teams out there who are scared to make a trade, I challenge you to get out of your shell and see what the market is. If you typically don’t like to talk to other human beings for fear of being rejected, I challenge you to give someone in your league a call and make the trade over the phone.
This is the level of dedication and guts that it takes to successfully execute a deal in the business world so why should it be any different in the fantasy football world? We are all essentially GM’s of our own hand-picked teams who are vying for the ultimate form of self-fulfillment and respect, the proverbial league championship.
In order to win the ultimate prize you have to take calculated risks and never stop improving your team at all costs. Just as you may have learned in high school and college, if you do your homework you will be rewarded!
Week 6 Start ’em
Kyler Murray – Cardinals QB
The diminutive Murray wasn’t spectacular, but earned his first NFL win on the road against a 0-4 Bengals team. Even though the competition wasn’t anything to brag about, a win is a win in this league, and Murray is finally showing the elite rushing ability that helped him win a Heisman trophy last season in Norman.
This is the second straight game in which Murray ran for a TD, but this week I see the game plan shifting to the air against a Falcons defense that just gave up 5 TD’s to DeShaun Watson and let Will Fuller have one of the greatest fantasy performances by a wide receiver in two decades. Look for Kyler to get dirty dirty for sure in the ATL (for all my Righteous Gemstones fans out there).
Kyler Murray Week 6 Projections: 367 passing yards, 2 passing TD’s, 75 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD

Week 6 Sit ’em
Joe Mixon – Bengals RB
Mixon is talented, but is penalized by having one the worst o-line in football which limits his ceiling from week to week. Against the Cardinals in Week 5, Mixon went over 100 yards from scrimmage for the first time this season but failed to score a rushing TD for the 5th straight game. Things won’t get any better for Mixon as he goes on the road to face a Ravens defense that knocked out Mason Rudolph and the Steelers last week.
Joe Mixon Week 6 Projections: 62 rushing yards, 0 rushing TD’s, 2 receptions, 9 receiving yards, 0 receiving TD’s
