Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 16 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (2018)

I honestly debated with myself whether or not I should write this list in the first place. Since this is likely the last game of the season I felt that it would be unnecessary to give advice to the small group of people who are still standing with a chance to win.

But then I thought to myself, I’ve been on this journey just like everyone else and it would be selfish of me to leave them hanging now.

This week is all about finishing strong. Even if you are in the consolation bracket or playing for 3rd place prize money, don’t end the season by not giving it your all.

We all play to win the game. Period.

I am fortunate enough to have advanced to the championship game in one out of my four leagues. I know this is the last time I could be in this position, so I never take it for granted. Neither should you. Soak it all in.

If you are here you are ready to fulfill your destiny and become a league champion. The margin for error is razor thin. But there is only one thing left to do. Listen to your gut. You are what got you here. Only you have to live with the results. So set your lineups with confidence and the conviction that you will emerge victorious.

Good luck, Champ! See you on the other side.

Week 16 Start ’em

Phillip Lindsay – Den RB

The undrafted rookie just got selected to his first Pro Bowl team this week, but is coming off two disappointing performances that has left his fantasy owners thinking twice about starting him with everything on the line. Facing the hapless Raiders in week 16, Lindsay gets his chance to be a championship week hero with a bounceback performance that will see him going for over 100 yards with multiple touchdowns. Start him with confidence and wrap up the title on Monday night.

Week 16 Sit ’em

Tevin Coleman – Atl RB

Just when you think Coleman is dead weight, he puts up his second 100 yard game of the season against an awful Arizona defense vaulting him back into fantasy relevance. Well fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…well you know the rest.

Coleman is the ultimate fantasy fool’s gold who will disappoint his fantasy owners once again when it matters the most. Stay away from this dirty bird who faces a Panthers defense that ranks in the top ten in rushing yards allowed per game and will be rallying around the loss of their leader Cam Newton who was shut down for the rest of the season.
