Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 15 PLAYOFFS (2018)

This is the point in the season where the questions from followers become more frequent and intense and the advice comes with the added weight of a playoff elimination if things go wrong, which they inevitably will for some of you reading this.

See you at the winner’s circle!

Week 15 Start ’em

Justin Jackson – LAC RB

Jackson showed glimpses of his ability to burst through holes and make defenders miss in week 14 against the Bengals in limited time. With Austin Ekeler out with a neck injury and Melvin Gordon likely unable to play, Jackson is poised for a huge breakout performance as the leading man against on TNF against the Chiefs.

The Chiefs defense has allowed the second most fantasy points to running backs this season in what should be a high scoring affair. If you were able to pick Jackson up for this week, start him with confidence and move on to the next round.

Justin Jackson Week 15 Projections: 17 rushing attempts, 93 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, 5 receptions, 35 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD

Week 15 Sit ’em

Mitch Trubisky – Chi QB

On the surface, this seems like a must start situation as the Packers defense has been underwhelming this season and Trubisky has had one of the better fantasy seasons at the quarterback position. That being said, I believe he is still dealing with effects from his shoulder injury which caused him to miss two games in weeks 12 and 13.

His velocity took a dip in some of the throws I saw against the Rams, and his decision making has always been a cause for concern for the young quarterback. His past history against the Packers in week 1 are not favorable as he was held under 200 yards with no TD’s. Although this may seem like a shootout against a bad Packers defense, I would stay clear and look for safer options at this point in the postseason.

Mitch Trubisky Week 15 Projections: 123 passing yards, 1 passing TD, 2 INT’s, 7 rushing attempts, 33 rushing yards
