Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 10 (2018)
We have arrived at the portion of the season where every game matters. If you take your eye off your opponents you will end up out of the playoffs and watching from the sidelines. This is how small the margin error is when you are playing in a serious competitive league with experienced players.
I have spoken a lot about trades the past couple weeks and if your trade deadline is approaching, I strongly urge you to take a good look in the mirror and evaluate what kind of team you have for the playoff push. Only you know which teams in your league are likely to trade with you and provide you with any value.
I believe that the people who work hardest in this world have a much better chance of creating their own luck. This is applicable to fantasy football in many ways. If you do the most studying and are able to improve your team every week via the waivers or savvy trades, the ball will tend to bounce your way. It is no accident if you end up as one of the last two teams standing.
Week 10 Start ’em
Aaron Jones – GB RB
This is the week many people have all been waiting for… The Aaron Jones breakout game! Before the season began, some experts and pundits saw Jones as this year’s Alvin Kamara. While we all know that prediction did not come true, the talented Jones (who was suspended for the first two games of the season) has yet to eclipse over 100 rushing yards in his 7 games played this season.
The Packers made a sudden move by trading away Ty Montgomery to the Ravens, leaving the backfield to Jones and Williams to split the carries. This has set the conditions for the perfect storm in week 10 against a Miami Dolphins defense who are allowing the fourth most points to running backs this season. If you were one of the savvy owners who stuck with Jones or traded for him recently, congrats…your patience is about to pay off this week!

Tom Brady – NE QB
Are you not entertained? The ageless wonder has finally met his match, facing an opponent that is undefeated…Father Time. If Ryan Fitzpatrick is on your waiver wire, pick him up and start him this week over Tom Brady. Yes I said it.
Typically he is an automatic start each week but his last two starts have been underwhelming and this week he faces a Titans defense that dismantled the Cowboys in week 9. The Titans defense is allowing the 6th fewest points to opposing quarterbacks this year while allowing no more than two touchdown passes a game.
With Gronk and Sony Michel dealing with injuries, It hurts me to say this but, it’s time to bench the GOAT.
