Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 7 (2018)

We are almost half-way through the season and its time that you start to look ahead to find which players have the best matchups for the fantasy playoffs. Assuming you are still in the running to make the playoffs, it is never to early to start preparing for games after week 13 which is typically when the fantasy regular season ends.

If you have players on your team with tough playoff matchups, try and get ahead of it now by making a trade for players with favorable matchups. I can guarantee you that most of the other players in your league are not thinking that far ahead at this time.

A player like Julio Jones whose stock is a bit up and down so far this season is a good trade target, with a very favorable Week 14 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. These are the type of players who can advance you to the next round of the playoffs and beyond.

Week 7 Start ’em

Mitchell Trubisky – Chi QB

Trubisky has been on fire as of late, with 9 total TD’s in his last two starts. This week he faces a Patriots defense that was in a shootout with Patrick Mahomes in Week 6, and should be vulnerable against the Bears second year signal caller.

The Bears offense will be forced to throw early and often against a Tom Brady and company just to stay in the game. :I expect another multiple TD performance in the air for Trubisky, who is finally showing his promise as a Top 3 draft pick for Chicago.

Mitchell Trubisky Week 7 Projections: 375 yards passing, 4 passing TD’s, 1 INT, 6 rushing attempts, 35 yards rushing

Week 7 Sit em: Deshaun Watson

Week 7 Sit ’em

Deshaun Watson – Hou QB

Watson is coming off a disappointing Week 6 performance against the Buffalo Bills, and faces another elite defense in the Jaguars in Week 7. The second year quarterback has been hit on several designed runs this season and is also dealing with a chest injury that has been hindering his ability to stay in the pocket and throw to his other weapons not named DeAndre Hopkins. The Jaguars have lost their last two road games, and especially an embarrassing loss to the Cowboys which they will be sure to rebound from.

Deshaun Watson Week 7 projections: 183 passing yards, 1 TD, 2 INT’s, 3 rushing attempts, 17 yards rushing, 1 fumble
