UFC Brazil gives us some nice underdog plays while also making you decide which way to go when targeting the high priced fighters. There are 3 fights expected to end inside the distance “ITD”; I can possible see 2 others that might not go to a decision. When building my initial lines I was able to roster 4 fighters favored to win 2 of those being in the fights expected to end with a finish. By using 2 of the dog plays you can roster a mid 8k fighter and target another high priced fighter. Now here’s where it gets tricky. Will you pay up for Valentina or just take the discount on Anders or Santos. There’s less risk on taking Valentina but will she cover her high salary if she doesn’t finish her opponent quickly? In MMA DFS you want to target the fighters with the highest potential to finish quick or grapplers. You want a fighter who will be working for takedowns and transitions. The more takedowns; the more action the higher the score. Now let’s get to the picks…
