What a long a crazy journey this has been! I’ve seen it all this fantasy season and I am glad that you all have been here for the ride. This game has taught me a lot over the years, including how to compete while staying even-keeled and always one step ahead of my opponent. As I get older I know that one day I will stop playing fantasy and I will spend time to focus on other things, but until then I will always strive to be the best and to win a championship every year.

For all those of you who have made it this far and are still playing for something, I want to say congrats! You didn’t give up and you stayed the course long enough to potentially enjoy the fruits of a long and trying season. Now for the list…

Week 14 Start ’em

Rex Burkhead – NE RB

Burkhead has been the go-to red zone guy for Tom Brady and the Patriots’ offense, scoring 5 touchdowns in his last 4 games. Look for this trend to continue this weekend against a Miami defense that was torched 35-17 only a few days ago. Fire up Burkhead as an RB2 or FLEX and enjoy another Burkhead trip to the end zone.

Rex Burkhead Week 14 Projections: 14 carries, 89 rushing yards, 3 receptions, 22 receiving yards, 1 rushing TD

Week 14 Sit ’em

Devin Funchess – Car WR

Funchess is coming off a Week 13 shoulder injury suffered against a tough Saints secondary and will face an even bigger test this week against shutdown Vikings corner Xavier Rhodes. With the return of tight end Greg Olsen this week, I see Funchess getting even less red zone targets which will limit the scoring upside he usually enjoys. If you have options with better matchups this week, I suggest you go the safer route and bench Funchess.
