So my featured starts and sits for Week 12 did not go as planned, and they would have been spot on if I switched the two around but I digress. This is a good time for me to remind you all that I am just a guide for you to make you own informed decisions for your fantasy team’s best interests.

Do not rely on just my list to make your decision for you, because at the end of the day only you can push that submit button and set your lineup for game day. Now I do make educated guests guesses on who I think will perform well and who I think will be mediocre but always always listen to your gut instincts when it comes to fantasy. That is my only word of advice that I have gained from 10 years of playing this illustrious game of fantasy football. Now for the list…

Week 13 Start ’em

Josh Gordon – Cle WR

Now I know what you’re thinking, how could you start someone who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2014 and is on the Cleveland Browns? Well, let me answer that by first putting this into some context. If you are fighting for the last playoff spot and you are in desperate need of a win this week, don’t start Josh Gordon if you have a safer option or a player with a plus matchup.

I am only recommending this for people who are a lock for the playoffs or are are a huge underdog this week and need a high risk/high reward play for their WR3 or FLEX. If you fall into one of those categories and have room for some risk, take a gamble on Gordon in his first game back. If you have him on your team and you’ve been stashing him for more than a week you might as well play him because he is finally sober and had one of the greatest wide receiver seasons in NFL history while under the influence of multiple substances. Three words sum it up… Flash is back!

Could Josh Gordon be the player that turns the worst pro sports organization around? He just might.

Week 13 Sit ’em

DeMarco Murray – Ten RB

Despite finding the end zone 4 times in has last 3 games, Murray has been underwhelming as a runner and is starting to cede more and more touches to back up Derrick Henry, who has looked like the better back for much of the season.

Houston’s defense is notoriously stifling against the run and will be able to contain Murray in the backfield. Fade him this week and start a back with a higher ceiling.
