Every week, Mike Mital is responsible for telling fantasy football owners around the world who to sit and who to start. This is not your grandpa’s ordinary, boring start em sit em list–this is bold! You’ve been warned…

I know that last week’s start ’em sit ’em list was not very accurate, but I plan on having a huge bounce back week and nailing my two featured start and sit players. After taking an L last week, I plan to get back on and ride the hot streak again.

Week 13 Start em

DeAndre Hopkins – Hou WR

Hopkins has been a big disappointment this season thanks to the awful play of quarterback Brock Osweiler who has struggled mightily in Houston’s offense. Nuk was largely selected in the first round of fantasy football drafts coming off a monster 2015 season where he was a PPR monster and the Texans targets leader by a country mile. I have some personal experience with this, as I drafted him in the first round in the Fantasy Couch League.

This week he faces a Packers defense that has suffered several injuries to key players in the secondary and ranks 31st in pass coverage. This game has the makings of a shootout and Hopkins should be the beneficiary of several deep targets on the day with the potential to rack up even more fantasy points in garbage time if the Texans fall behind early.

Week 13 Sit em

Dak Prescott – Dal QB

Dak has been having arguably the greatest season of any rookie quarterback in NFL history, and should be considered a legit MVP candidate for leading the Cowboys to a historical 10-1 record. Despite this incredible run, Prescott is coming off his worst passing performance against a Washington defense that held him under 200 yards in the air for the first time all season.

This week he faces a talented Vikings defense on the road that features talented star linebacker Anthony Barr and shutdown corner Xavier Rhodes. I predict the Cowboys will opt to beat the Vikings on the ground with their run game rather than risk turnovers through the air, limiting Prescott’s big play value.
