Week 9 of the fantasy football season is in the past; this is a crucial time to start making your playoff push. With that being said, here are some key injuries that will have a significant impact in fantasy.

Early Week 10 Injury Report

LeSean McCoy, Buf RB

LeSean McCoy (shoulder) is supposed to be getting an MRI Monday at the latest, however he does play this Thursday which leaves him minimal time to recover. The injury didn’t seem too serious as McCoy said that he could have came back into the game Sunday. Keep an eye on his participation in practice this week to play it safe.

Eddie Lacy, GB RB

Lacy left Week 9 early against the Panthers with a groin injury. Lacy has only rushed for more than 50 yards in a game only twice this season. Although the injury isn’t severe to our knowledge, with 10 yards and a fumble this week he could find himself behind James Starks from here on out in the depth chart.

Teddy Bridgewater, Min QB

Up and about in the locker room Monday morning, Bridgewater looks good after taking an illegal hit on Sunday that left him dazed with a concussion. Shaun Hill will get the start if Bridgewater isn’t cleared, but he passed his first concussion protocol test and is on the right track to starting Week 10.

Dion Lewis, NE RB

Dion Lewis is out for the season with a torn left ACL, unfortunately for all of his fantasy owners this stud is going to have to wait until next year to bring his talents out to the field again. We will likely see a committee of LeGarrette Blount, Brandon Bolden and James White going forward, with Blount being the lead back most weeks.

Latavius Murray, Oak RB

Latavius Murray was forced out of Sunday’s game with a potential concussion. Murray went down from a hard hit that didn’t look like a concussion. The hit wasn’t even to the head or neck, but his helmet was taken away. We’ll see if he is cleared to play before his next game.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pit QB

Roethlisberger again is out, but only this time it’s expected to be for only 1 or 2 weeks. A Week 11 bye puts Big Ben on track to play his first game back Week 12, at Seattle, against the Legion of Boom. Expect Landry Jones to get the start with a heavy dose of DeAngelo Williams for Week 10.
