Just as quickly as they come, another week is gone, and as usual Fantasy Couch is here to bring you all the answers you need for this week’s injury report and top performers.

Early Week 7 Injury Report

Keenan Allen, SD WR

Keenan Allen (hip) will have an MRI test done to conclude the severity of his injury. As of now his injury is suspected to be caused by his hip flexor, and he will be questionable until his examination.

Marcus Mariota, Ten QB

An MRI on Monday showed that the young star in Tennessee has a sprained MCL. Although he is able to walk around the facility, MCL injuries are usually sidelines a player for multiple weeks. This leaves Zach Mettenberger to likely get the start on Sunday.

Julius Thomas, Jac TE

Teal Julius (ribs) fell on the football Sunday, which consequentially bruised his ribs. Although this is not as serious as it could be, Thomas should be fine to travel to London to face the Bills on Sunday.

Sammy Watkins, Buf WR

Watkins’ ankle injury came in the second quarter of the Bills’ loss and did not return to the game after. He left the facility in a walking boot and is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

Jeremy Maclin, KC WR

Maclin left Sunday’s game against the Vikings with a concussion. The Chiefs best wide receiver walked off under his own power but did not return to the game.

Emmanuel Sanders, Den WR

Sanders barely evaded an AC joint sprain in his shoulder in the fourth quarter of Week 6. He is expected to be “OK”, however Sanders never admitted to his shoulder popping in and out during the game himself. His status is unknown at this point for next week.

Carlos Hyde, SF RB

Jim Tomsula proposed that Hyde’s foot was merely a bruise and isn’t “anything serious”. The two of them combined guaranteed Hyde’s start on Thursday against their division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks.

Harry Douglas, Ten WR

Douglas does not have broken ribs, however they are “sore” and he might end up sitting this upcoming week. This will open up the field for Dorial Green-Beckham to make some plays with the absence of Douglas.

DeSean Jackson, Was WR

Jay Gruden said DeSean Jackson (hamstring) is questionable for next week after suffering a set back in practice.
