Fantasy Football Start ’em Sit ’em Week 4

Here is my start ’em sit ’em Week 4 list for the 2015 NFL season. This is simply a guide to help you make your own roster adjustments prior to kickoff. Week 4 Start ’em

Joseph Randle, Dal RB

Last week was a career game for Joseph Randle? Yup. Will he ever produce those numbers again? Nope, but he sure will have a good shot this week playing the struggling New Orleans Saints.

Randle exploded last week for three touchdowns on 14 carries and gained 87 rushing yards, finally producing what fantasy owners had hoped when they drafted him in the middle rounds of drafts. He is going to face a Saints defense that are given up 126 yards on the ground and allowed three rushing touchdowns. Last year, the Saints defense was the fourth-friendliest to running backs and are on that same friendly pace again this year.

The Cowboys game plan should be similar to last week when they tried to get the running game going first to set up the pass. This will give Randle plenty of opportunities to rack up fantasy points for his owners and make him a Top 10 RB play for Week 4. Randle will finish this week’s game with his first career 100-yard rushing game to go along with two touchdowns.

Week 4 Sit ’em

Mike Evans, TB WR

Mike Evans is finally getting healthy and you’re telling me to sit him on my bench this week? Correctamundo, you got it dude! Even with the volume of targets (17 last week) he’s getting, this week’s matchup will prove hard to overcome as Evans has a matchup with cornerback Josh Norman and the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are playing outstanding pass defense on the young year, coming in as the 6th toughest against wide receivers; allowing only one passing touchdown to the position.

Cornerback Josh Norman will be shadowing Evans all game and has been nothing short of spectacular against opposing teams’ No. 1 wide receivers this year; shutting down the likes of Allen Robinson, DeAndre Hopkins, and Brandin Cooks (13 catches for 159 yards and ZERO touchdowns).

I’m a big Evans fan, but this week I recommend you look for other alternatives if you can. Do not expect anything close to last week’s performance (7 receptions for 101 receiving yards) but instead look forward to seeing 4 receptions for 60 yards and no touchdowns.
