Instead of giving you another 2015 NFL mock draft like the thousands available on the web, I combined the top 20 mocks from various NFL draft experts. It wasn’t easy crunching the numbers for you guys, but I believe this is the most beneficial tool when it comes to predicting where each player is going to be drafted. 19 out of 20 experts project Jameis Winston going as the first overall pick. Most of the experts predict Marcus Mariota to go to the Jets as the sixth overall pick, but some see the quarterback going as early as No. 2 to the Titans or as late as No. 10 to the Rams. Another likely scenario is that the Eagles could trade up to get Mariota and possibly trade away Nick Foles.
The following mock draft is for the first round. For each draft position, I selected the most popular player picked by the experts. I also calculated and provided each player’s average draft position (not a whole number) and standard deviation for each player. A standard deviation of 3.00 or under means that the experts generally agreed upon what part of the draft that player would be selected. A standard deviation of 8.00 or more tells us that the experts highly disagreed on where the player will be drafted.
