Looking deeper you see a guy like Cuban defective, Jose Abreu, creeping into the top 10 after last year’s coming out party. There may not be another player of Abreu’s caliber lurking in the later rounds, but rest assured that great value can be had at an optimum price or round.

Generally speaking and depending on your league’s settings, pitchers are thinner in talent than hitters with top-tier hurlers being even harder to come by. Investing an at least one ace and another ‘lights out’ bullpen arm as a foundation for your pitching staff.

Top producers at certain positions are traditionally harder to come by like catchers, second basemen and shortstops. The stolen base is becoming a lost art while power numbers remain steady and spread out amongst players.
