Welcome to the start ’em sit ’em Week 6 list! The bold and fearless Sid was dead-on when it came to Russell Wilson and Reggie Bush in last week’s start-sit list. This week, we have Mike Mital filling in… Let’s see how he does.

Week 6 Start ‘em

Golden Tate, Det WR

Tate has quietly put up a solid season playing second fiddle to Calvin Johnson in the Lions’ offense which has recently been hit with a rash of injuries. With Megatron unlikely to play this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings due to a severe ankle sprain, Tate has a chance to shine coming off a season-best game where he caught 7 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown against the Bills in Week 5.

With their backfield in disarray and their top receiving threat questionable, count on Tate to get plenty of targets from quarterback Matthew Stafford against a Vikings defense that has given up the 9th most fantasy points to wide receivers this season (standard scoring).

The fact that the game will take place on Minnesota’s fast turf field will only help Tate’s ability to burn the Vikings’ cornerbacks and put up some big numbers come Sunday.

Week 6 Sit ‘em

Dez Bryant, Dal WR

I know it might sound crazy, but I am telling you to sit Dez Bryant this week. The Cowboys will be on the road this week against a Seahawks defense that is looking to make a statement after barely beating Washington on the road on Monday night. I expect Dez to see a physically-imposing Sherman shadowing him or be double teamed from the opening kickoff.

If you remember in Week 1, Bryant had a terrible game against a San Francisco defense that only allowed him 4 receptions for 55 yards with no touchdowns. I expect Seattle to watch the tape on that game and employ a similar strategy where they will let anyone but Bryant beat them in the passing game.
