Welcome to our Start ’em Sit ’em Week 7 list.
START: Nick Foles, Phi QB
If you’re looking for a spot starter this week, Foles is your man. Since replacing starter Michael Vick, Foles has thrown for 493 yards, five touchdowns, zero interception and has rushed one in. This week he is facing a Dallas Cowboys’ pass defense that has forgotten how to cover people, allowing a league-leading fourteen passing touchdowns to only six interceptions and have allowed 23 plays of 20 yards or more. Quarterbacks also are averaging a mind-blowing 308 yds/gm against this weak pass defense.
If you were able to get Foles off waivers, congratulations! Because it will pay off handsomely this week as I expect Foles to throw for 293 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions–worthy of starting in all formats.

Let’s see why I have Matty Ice as a must-sit… First, he will be without top wide out Julio Jones (who was lost for the year). Second, he will be missing his number two wide receiver Roddy White (who will be missing his first career game). Third, running back Steven Jackson will also be missing this game (his fourth straight missed game). And if you need another reason on why to sit Matt Ryan, the other team will have Darrelle Revis.
