Here is who you should start and who you should sit for Week 5 of fantasy football.

START: Arian Foster, Hou RB

He had gotten off to a slow start the first three weeks of the season but righted the ship last week having a monster game of a 171 total yards, a receiving touchdown and his first 100-yard rushing performance of the year. He has some favorable matchups the next three weeks as he is facing teams (SF, STL, KC) that are ranked in the bottom half in rush defense.

Week five’s matchup looks good as San Francisco is giving up 109 yards on the ground and has allowed the second most rushing touchdowns (6) this season. This isn’t the same 49ers defense from last year; they will be missing DE Aldon Smith (rehab) and they might be without LB Patrick Willis, so do not be afraid to start Foster. We should see a ton of Foster and I think he will have another dominant performance ending the day with 90 rushing yards, 40 receiving yards, and a rushing touchdown.

SIT: Jay Cutler, Chi QB

It’s going to be a long day for this quarterback. Cutler will be facing off against the New Orleans Saints who no longer boast the league’s worst defense. This year the Saints’ defense is legit boasting a top five pass defense that is third in interceptions and has 12 sacks on the season. The Saints’ D is only allowing an average of 192 passing yards and one measly passing touchdown per game.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler

I don’t see a productive day for Jay who will be hard pressed to find any open receiver. If you have better options play them because Cutler will probably be on his back most of the game. His numbers for the week don’t look good: expect Jay Cutler to throw for 200 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions — good luck if Cutler is your only option this week.
