2012 Fantasy Football Start Em Week 9
Start Carson Palmer (QB) Oakland Raiders – He is not the sexiest name to have in your lineup but he is a solid option to have if your starter is on a bye or have a suspect QB (i.e Michael Vick or Eli Manning) playing.
Did you guys know that Palmer has actually scored 20 or more fantasy points five out of the seven games he’s played and one of those games that he didn’t reach 20 points; he was merely 0.3 away from registering his sixth 20 point game. He also has thrown or rushed for a touchdown in all but one game and only has five interceptions on the season with no more than one thrown in a game. He has been as consistent as they come.
This week Palmer goes up against the worst ranked pass defense in the league in the Washington Redskins. They are allowing 314 passing yds/gm and have given up the most passing touchdowns (19) on the season. Another reason why Palmer is a must-start is the fact that the Redskins have given up the most 40+ yard plays (7) in the league and the fifth most 20+ yard plays (31), do you see a trend here?
One last tidbit, in the past three weeks, Palmer has averaged 287 passing yards with four passing touchdowns, a rushing touchdown, and three interceptions and again I say he will face the worst ranked pass defense if you didn’t hear me the first time – put him in your lineup. Carson Palmer Week 9 projections: 300 passing yards and two touchdowns.

2012 Fantasy Football Sit Em Week 9
I feel bad if Dalton is your number one quarterback. Do you know who he faces this week? He will play against the Denver Broncos who just happen to boast the 8th best pass defense, allowing only 213 passing yds/gm. This defense is very stingy when it comes to giving up the big play as they have only allowed three plays of 40+ yards on the season. Last week this Denver defense made the great Drew Brees look very pedestrian allowing a puny 213 passing yards to the 2011 passing champ. If that doesn’t scare you then this just might: in the last three games Brees, Philip Rivers and Tom Brady only averaged 225 passing yards, combined for five touchdowns and five interceptions against the Broncos defense. Make sure to sit Dalton this week. Andy Dalton Week 9 projections: 200 passing yard, one touchdown and 3 interceptions.
