Hope your having a great 2011 fantasy football season. Here is our week 2 start ’em sit ’em players. Even though we will only feature one player to start and one player to sit, we will do our best effort include all the players on your fantasy roster by creating a list of several players to start and bench. Even though our weekly articles are very detailed and helpful, it won’t answer all your fantasy football lineup questions. If you have any lineup questions or any other fantasy football questions don’t hesitate to ask us on Twitter @fantasycouch for an immediate response. Here is the week 2 start ’em sit ’em list players…

Fantasy Football - Week 2 Start 'em Sit 'em - Start the players below

Start Jahvid Best DET

Jahvid Best might be turning the corner after a good showing last week. He was productive in the game, rushing (21 carriers for 72 yards) and receiving (4 catches for 42 yards), only thing missing was a touchdown. I don’t think he’ll have that problem this week when he plays the Kansas City Chiefs at home. Last week the Chiefs allowed Fred Jackson to gain 112 yards on the ground and they lost S Eric Berry for the season which should only help Best reach the endzone. He is a dynamic player who will get his touches either by rushing or receiving and is always looking to make the big play. Best will have another good game rushing for 98 yards and catching 5 balls for 47 yards and two touchdowns.

Other guys who you should start for week 2: Philip Rivers, Chad Henne, Rashard Mendenhall, Ray Rice, Cadillac Williams, Darren McFadden, Cedric Benson, Peyton Hillis, Tim Hightower, and Larry Fitzgerald

Fantasy Football - Week 1 Start 'em Sit 'em - Bench the players below

Sit Kenny Britt TEN

Britt needs to ride the bench this week. You have a better chance of discovering dinosaur bones in your backyard than Britt performing anywhere remotely to what he did last week. He was practically held in check in the first half of last week’s game and gained most of his yards on an 80-yard touchdown play. If you take away that one play he would’ve had 4 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown, decent numbers but not great numbers. This week Britt is playing the Green Bay Packers who look to perform better on defense then they showed in week 1. Let’s not forget that Matt Hasselbeck is no Drew Brees. Expect the Titans to hand the ball off to Chris Johnson more often in week 2. CJ2k had only nine carriers in week 1 because they were easing him back into the game plan after missing all of preseason. Kenny Britt will finish the game with 4 catches for 42 yards and no touchdowns.

Other guys who you should sit for week 2: Donovan McNabb, Cam Newton, DeAngelo Williams, Maurice Jones-Drew, Felix Jones, Reggie Bush, Ryan Mathews, Roddy White, Steve Smith (CAR), and Scott Chandler

Fantasy Football - Week 2 Start 'em Sit 'em - Keep an eye on the players below

Randall Cobb GB

Even though Cobb will be primarily used to entertain fans with insane return skills, he may be of great fantasy value in the future. If one or two receivers on the Green Bay Packers gets injured, claim this rookie off waivers immediately.

Early Doucet ARI

Defenses are going to have a hard time covering Larry Fitzgerald and other receivers. Doucet should be an Early picked up in all deep leagues.
