The boldest start ’em sit ’em Week 15 list for the 2014 fantasy football season. It’s that crucial time to know who to start and who to sit so you can advance to the fantasy football Super Bowl!

Week 15 Start ’em

A.J. Green, WR Cin

This man was a hot topic this week. I was getting a ton of questions asking if A.J. Green should be in their starting lineup. My answer to them was, “why would you not?”

A lot of fantasy owners are afraid to pull the trigger because of what happened last time Green faced off against the Cleveland Browns, he was smothered by All-Pro Joe Haden; who held him to just three receptions for 23 yards and zero touchdowns. I’ m here to tell you: do not be foolish–start the man! Green has performed well against the cornerback scoring three touchdowns and going over the century mark twice. He has been impressive facing Haden at FirstEnergy Stadium averaging five catches for 75 yards and a touchdown over three games.

And let’s not forget the performance that Haden allowed last week to T.Y. Hilton, who destroyed the cornerback to the tune of 10 catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns. This guy is beatable and we shall see a different Green then the one that showed up Week 10. Green will be a Top 10 receiver for the week and finish the game with his third career 100-yard game against Haden and also hitting pay dirt.

Week 15 Sit ’em

Johnny Manziel, QB Cle

With Johnny Football getting his first career start, fantasy owners are ready to see what this guy has to offer. Sorry to tell you guys it’s not going to be much.

In his first game as a starter Manziel will be going up against the Cincinnati Bengals who are the seventh stingiest defense against the quarterback, allowing 14 fantasy points per game to the position. Up until last week’s debacle against Pittsburgh, the Cincinnati secondary hadn’t allowed a quarterback to throw multiple touchdowns since Week 9 and had not allowed a QB to throw for more than 300 yards since Week 7. In their last three road games the Bengals have allowed 634 passing yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Another ugly stat for Manziel owners: the Bengals have held four of the last seven quarterbacks they faced to under 10 fantasy points.

I think the Browns’ coaches will be leaning on the run more this game and not trying to rely on Manziel’s arm much. I see Manziel being held to under 160 passing yards, two interceptions and 47 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Manziel is outside my Top 20 at quarterback for the week.
