Here are the Top 5 players to add in IDP leagues for Week 3.

Rolando McClain, Dal LB

The former first-round pick is playing especially well as the Cowboys’ middle linebacker in place of the injured Sean Lee. McClain racked up 15 total tackles (12 solo) and a sack over the first two games. He has always had the talent; it’s the six inches between his ears that was holding him back. Things have changed for the good and the middle linebacker makes for a great waiver wire addition.

Joplo Bartu, Atl LB

It looks as though the Falcons have a pair of young, up-and-coming linebackers in Paul Worrilow and Bartu, a second-year pro out of Texas State. The have led the team in total tackles respectively, and that trend should continue as both should top 100 for the season. Bartu is available in most leagues at this point while his stock is steady on the rise.

Mike Daniels, GB DE

The Packers might have a potential leader on defense in Daniels. The former fourth-round pick in 2012 has 11 total tackles (eight solo) and a sack through two games. Daniels has progressed from two sacks as a rookie, to six and a half last season, to maybe 10 or more as a third-year guy this season. Fantasy owners may want to act now while he’s still flying under the radar.

Aaron Williams, Buf S

It was nice to see Williams back out there playing every snap for the Bills after he suffered a concussion during Week 1. He produced seven solo stops and a pass defended in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins. Williams had 60, 11 passes defended and four picks in 14 starts last season. He will be an integral part of Buffalo’s secondary this year and fantasy owners could greatly benefit as well.

Jelani Jenkins, Mia LB

Injuries turn into opportunities for others and that can be said for Jenkins getting the chance to play with Dannell Ellerbe ruled out for the season. If this past weekend was any indication of his ability, Jenkins registered14 total tackles (nine solo) as the team’s weakside linebacker. The Dolphins drafted him in the fourth round of last year’s draft out of Florida and a lot will be expected from the 22-year-old this season. Sometimes players get thrust into fantasy relevance and owners need to pull the trigger on Jenkins.
